According to La Lettre du Continent, Ali Bongo and Vincent Bolloré have just negotiated an agreement on the management of the port of Owendo, in the utmost secrecy. The deal would have been found in early October.

According to La Lettre du Continent, the agreement was signed secretly at the Gabonese Presidential Palace by Vincent Bolloré, his son Cyrille Bolloré, who is the leader of the subsidiary Bolloré Transport & Logistics, and Ali Bongo. The document also bears the signatures Bolloré’s Mr Africa, Philippe Labonne and the head of Olam in Gabon, Gagan Gupta.

Bolloré aurait réussi à obtenir les droits de gestion du terminal à conteneur et ceux des infrastructures et des zones d'extension qui ont été réalisées par Olam.
Selon La Lettre du Continent, l'accord a été signé en secret, au Palais Présidentiel gabonais, par Vincent Bolloré, son fils Cyrille Bolloré, qui est patron de la filiale Bolloré Transport & Logistics, et Ali Bongo. Le document porte aussi les signatures d’engagement du Monsieur Afrique de Bolloré, Philippe Labonne et du patron d’Olam au Gabon, Gagan Gupta.
La Lettre du Continent indique aussi que c’est suite à la signature de cet accord, que Canal +, propriété du groupe Bolloré, a décidé de déprogrammer un reportage sur Patience Dabany, qui devait être diffusé dans l'émission Planète +.
