THIS REGIME SHOULD HAVE MERCY ON THE GABONESE PEOPLE WHEN THEY LIE TO THEM! CE RÉGIME DEVRAIT QUAND MÊME AVOIR PITIÉ DES GABONAIS QUAND IL LEUR MENT !

English version

Ali Bongo went to inaugurate a manganese factory in Haut-Ogooué. OK! But the propaganda of the regime would have needed to be cautious in its lies. Indeed, this propaganda tells us that the first phase of the project to treat manganese by this plant would have cost 100 billion dollars of investments, that is to say 50000 billion CFA francs please! In other words, knowing that Gabon's annual GDP is 14 billion dollars (World Bank figure), only the first phase of this plant cost more than 4 times the annual GDP of Gabon.

But there is more; this first phase is expected to produce 300,000 tons of manganese per year. Knowing that manganese is selling at 775 dollars per ton, that is to say 387500 CFA francs, 300000 tons will yield to this factory about 116 billion CFA francs per year and it will take 431 years of production to make the return of the sum invested during the first phase.

But since the 100 billion dollars is only for the first phase, who knows what will phases 2 and 3 cost. Ah Gabon and its delusions of grandeur; when it is known that the Channel Tunnel linking England and France took 7 years of construction work, was considered a pharaonic project for these two great countries and cost only 15 billion euros (about 10000 billion CFA francs), we can ask ourselves who are the propagandists of the regime kidding? Another barometer tells us that Airbus Industrie, one of the flagship of the Germano-French technology, has a total value on CAC 40, of 111 billion euros (that is about 74,000 billion CFA francs ), just a little more than phase 1 of Ali Bongo’s manganese plant.

Lie to us, but go at it in moderation please!

As for us, we will still not give up!
