Yves Fernand Manfoumbi was the "Great Guest of the Economy" on Radio France Internationale. Panic! This former Director General of Budget, currently head of the National Agency for Major Works of Infrastructure, cumulatively with the direction of the Coordination Office of the Strategic Emerging Gabon Plan; was unable to have a coherent and knowledgeable economic discourse about Gabon. To listen to him, one wonders how someone so limited has managed to reach such heights in the Gabonese administration?

To listen to Manfoumbi, one sees that this regime has never anticipated nor planned, or controlled, much less accurately and carefully build a strategy. It is only a band of predators siting around the revenues of the country which they plunder and spend according to their appetites. All the promises of the regime are proving to be cauterizes on a wooden leg; they will not even be able to implement them because they are incompetent and know they are illegitimate. With the fall of Ali Bongo, the Augean stables would have to be cleaned.

Yves Fernand Manfoumbi, était le « Grand Invité de l'Economie » sur Radio France Internationale. Panique! Cet ancien Directeur Général du Budget, présentement à la tête de l’Agence Nationale des Grands Travaux d’Infrastructure, cumulativement avec la direction du Bureau de Coordination du Plan Stratégique Gabon Emergent ; a été incapable de tenir un discours économique cohérent et connaisseur à propos du Gabon. A l’écouter, on se demande comment quelqu’un d’aussi limité a fait pour arriver à de si hautes marches dans l’administration gabonaise?

A écouter Manfoumbi, on s’aperçoit que ce régime n’a jamais rien prévu, ni projeté, ni maîtrisé, encore moins planifié avec exactitude et prudence. Il ne s’agit que d’une bande de prédateurs assis autour de la rente qu’ils pillent et dépensent au gré de leurs appétits. Toutes les promesses du régime ne s’avèrent qu’être des cautères sur une jambe de bois ; il ne sauront même pas les mettre en œuvre car ils sont incompétents et se savent illégitimes. Avec la chute d’Ali Bongo, il va falloir nettoyer les écuries d’Augias.
